Pest-Pro has been a quality and professional business in Singapore for 9 years that offers pest control services to both the B2C and B2B market sectors. The transaction will strengthen Anticimex’s position in Singapore and cement it as a leading provider of pest control services in the country.
This new acquisition is in addition to the 10 pest control companies that Anticimex Asia has acquired since entering the market in 2016. For Anticimex it forms part of the strategy to expand its footprint across the Asia market via solid organic growth with Smart Pest Control offerings and the potential of further acquisitive growth.
Commenting on today’s announcement, Tony Hurst, President Anticimex Asia, said:
“The acquisition of Pest-Pro strengthens our position in the Singaporean market with the added benefit that customers and employees will gain from being involved with a global pest management organization. We are also pleased to announce that the owner of Pest-Pro Glen Aw Yong will continue to drive the Pest-Pro business to even greater heights as the Managing Director of the Pest-Pro business, Glen’s passion for his staff, customers and the industry is second to none and Anticimex is extremely happy to have him as part of our Anticimex family”.
