Lagerwey has been on the pest control market since 1986 and has built a solid portfolio within municipality sector for pest control and dry rot services. The transaction enables Anticimex to become a leading provider of dry rot treatments and further strengthen its geographical foot print in pest control.
The transaction follows on Anticimex acquisition of Lamon and Kees Kooijman earlier this year and forms part of its strategy to expand its market coverage across all regions of the Dutch market via organic growth and further acquisitions.
Commenting on today’s announcement, Dick Bisschop, Country President Anticimex Netherlands, said:
“With the acquisition of Lagerwey, we will further strengthen our position in the Dutch pest control market and become one of the main players in the fast-growing dry rot market. By combining the in-depth knowledge from Anticimex, Lamon, Kees Kooijman and Lagerwey we will serve our customers nationwide with even stronger expertise”.
